PURGATORUM AT FOTOGRAFISKA MUSEUM (Exhibition)
Kortex, at Fotografiska Stockholm, invited viewers into an immersive exploration of modern-day worship and human connection. Set within a stark, brutalist space of nearly 1000 square meters, Kortex merged marble sculptures, ambient light pillars, evocative photography, and cutting-edge projections to examine the primal urge to idolize.

Through a compelling mix of physical and digital art forms, Wessely stripped away societal layers, presenting icons and symbols in their bare essence. Kortex was both introspective and expansive, delving into timeless themes of reverence, identity, and the complex interplay between the seen and the unseen.
